Outreach and Advocacy

(Program)

*Inform families, schools and other public agencies of the services provided by Arc Herkimer.

*Assists families/individuals with accessing services through Arc Herkimer and OPWDD.

*Encourages self-advocacy to teach current clients of Arc Herkimer to speak up for themselves and others.

Eligibility: Self-advocacy service candidates must be capable of participating in group meetings and activities, must have a documented disability.

Application Process: Call or walk in. Self-advocacy requires a referral from another Arc Herkimer program.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: No fee for services.
