Road to Recovery

(Program)

Provides transportation assistance in the form of volunteer drivers who use their own cars to drive people with cancer to their treatment related appointments and back home again; rides are not always guaranteed - please call for availability.

Eligibility: Individuals with a cancer diagnosis travelling to a cancer-related medical appointment; must be able to walk unassisted to and from the vehicle or have an accompanying caregiver to assist; patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legally responsible adult such as a parent or caregiver

Application Process: 4 business day advance notice (not including the date transportation is needed) is required
