* Provides a national registry via which individuals who do not wish to receive unsolicited telemarketing calls can register their residential phone numbers.
  • The National Do Not Call Registry Act does not apply to businesses with whom a consumer has a pre-existing business relationship, nor does it apply to political organizations, charities, telephone surveyors, or insurance companies in some states.
