* Provides crisis counseling through on-line chat or over the phone to active military members and transitioning service members affected by sexual assault, as well as their loved ones.

* Provides information and referral on-line, over the phone, or texting to local resources for: Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC), medical or legal personnel, chaplain, or civilian assault service provider.

Eligibility: Active Military members and transitioning service members affected by sexual assault, and their loved ones.

Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (RAINN)
(Agency)

Operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline and online chat in partnership with over 1,000 local rape crisis centers across the country. Operates the Department of Defense (DoD) Safe Helpline and online chat which provides live, one-on-one support and information to sexual assault survivors in the military. Provides programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims, educate the public, and establish public policy.
