Preventive Services

(Program)

* Provides families with supportive and rehabilitative services that address a threefold need: averting a family separation that could result in a foster care placement; enabling a child to return to the family from placement earlier than otherwise anticipated; and reducing the possibility of a child returning to placement who had previously been discharged from care. Coordinating referrals made to outside agencies for services such as counseling, parent-aides, and parenting classes.

Eligibility: Birth to 18 years of age.

Application Process: Walk-in or call office for more information.

Required Documentation: None.

Fees: No fee for service.
