Financial Assistance Program


* Provides short-term and emergency direct financial assistance to support persons living with HIV/AIDS (individuals or families), who are homeless or housing vulnerable, to access and maintain housing. The following services are provided through this program: emergency rental and utility assistance; short-term rental and utility assistance; security deposits; and moving expenses. The emergency and short-term financial assistance serve as an immediate intervention to maintain safe housing and assist in overcoming any financial barriers that may impede on an individual’s ability to maintain permanent housing.

Eligibility: 18 years of age and older.
Income must fall under the 200% poverty level
Veterans are given priority.

Application Process: By appointment.

Required Documentation: Must have documentation of HIV/AIDS status. Proof of address. Proof of income.

Fees: Call for information.

Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties.
