Information and Referral Services

(Program)

* Offers information and referral on programs and services for the blind and visually impaired.
* Provides legislative advocacy on laws affecting blind persons.
* Offers college scholarships to blind and visually impaired students.
* Provides legislative and governmental monitoring.
* Holds annual conference featuring a large trade show of the latest high- and low-tech gadgets for blind and visually impaired people.

Eligibility: Blind or visually impaired people, families, friends, doctors, teachers.
Volunteer opportunities available. Must be at least 15 years old. Email volunteer@acb.org for convention volunteer opportunities; info@acb.org for sighted guide on Capitol Hill opportunities.

Application Process: Call for information.

Required Documentation: None

Fees: No fee for service. Membership dues vary by chapter.
