* Offers subsidized housing for low-income families, senior citizens, individuals with disabilities and singles.

Eligibility: Annual income must not exceed amount set by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. Eligibility for families determined by income, family size and family composition.

Application Process: Call for an application and an appointment.

Required Documentation: Generally Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, proof of income (3 consecutive pay stubs) or County Budget Sheets.

Fees: Sliding scale (approximately 30% of income) for rent.

The Utica Municipal Housing Authority is a low-income public housing authority and operates a public housing program, Section 8 Program, and Housing Referral Center. Properties include Adrean Terrace, FX Matt, ND Peters, Gillmore Village, Humphrey Garden, Perretta Twin Towers, Chancellor Apartments, 819 Hamilton St and Roosevelt Residence, Marino Ruggireo.
