- Hands on experience gained by rehabilitating vacant homes in the City of Utica
* Offers individuals who complete the 6 month course a State recognized certificate in carpentry and masonry from MVCC. With:
- OSHA 10 certification and lead abatement
- 41 college credits
Eligibility: Age 18 years and older, must possess a high school degree or GED.
Application Process: Apply online, over phone or in person.
Required Documentation: Proof of education.
Fees: Tuition paid to MVCC. Financial assistance is available, call for information.

Rescue Mission serves individuals overcoming homelessness, abuse, addictions, and disabilities. Programs provide safe lodging, food, clothing, case management, counseling, advocacy, education, referrals, spiritual and other supportive services.
