Provides shelter services for cats and dogs awaiting adoption. Promotes responsible pet ownership through education discussing proper care for animals, and need for animal control through spayin and neuturing. Operates an open admission shelter where no Madison County dog or cat will be turned away, but does not accept aggressive or injured animals.

Eligibility: Minimum of 21 years of age; call for additional information

Application Process: Call for information or to make an appointment for surrendering pets

Required Documentation: Completed application, proof of permanent residence, valid NYS driver's license or non-driver photo ID, proof of steady income, signed copy of lease stating animals are allowed along with any restrictions
