Vision Rehab Therapy (VRT)

(Program)

Teaches blind and visually impaired individuals skills of daily living, such as financial management, meal preparation, home safety, organization, and health and wellness. Identifies the area in need of adaptation and provides instruction and equipment to address the need.

Eligibility: Individuals who are blind or visually impaired

Application Process: Call for information and services

Required Documentation: Documentation of visual impairment

Provides a variety of services and resources for individuals who are blind or visually impaired including employment, orientation and mobility training, vision rehabilitation services, technology and assistive equipment services, and specialized children's services.
