(Program)

* Provides the Child Custody Advocate Program - assists children caught in the middle of custody disputes.

Explores the background and current family situation of the child.
Presents the court with findings to assist in the decision concerning custody and visitation.

Eligibility: Petition filed for establishment or change of custody/visitation and appointment by Judge or Court Referee.

Application Process: Parents, attorneys or other interested parties may request the appointment of an Advocate by the Judge or Court Referee.

Required Documentation: Intake/Referral form.

Fees: No fee for services.

Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties.
