Home and Community Based Waiver Services
(Program)
Skills taught that are needed to live independently include:
- Maintaining a home
- Participating in recreational and social functions
- Socialization skills
- Exercising choice and self-determination
- Implementing daily practices to promote behavioral and physical health
- Communicating effectively
- Exploring new and practical experiences
- Engaging in and contributing to the community.
The program also allows the individual to set their own goals.
Eligibility: Individuals who have developmental disabilities or TBIs (Traumatic Brain Injuries) and are eligible for Medicaid. There is no age limitation. Call for more information.
