Operation Safe Child Card Program - Program

Provides cards that contain the child's name, photo, biographical information (date of birth, gender, height, weight, hair color, eye color, etc.), and a fingerprint image of both index fingers. The card is kept by the parent/guardian to show searchers in case the child goes missing. The information is stored by NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services for use in the event of an amber alert.
