Provides a home-based style of training that allows Freedom Guide Dogs to bring a trained guide dog directly to the blind person's home where they train with them for 2-3 weeks in their own, familiar environment.

*Utilizes a battery powered transmitter that is worn by individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to assist in locating them should they wander. ProvidesÂ help from trained officers to locate missing persons who are enrolled in the program. Offers monthly follow-up by an officer who will ensure information is current and equipment is working.
