Initial Response Team Pins Diversion

(Program)

Provides early school-based intervention to issues of incorrigibility, behavioral issues, truancy, and juvenile offenses with the goal of diverting potential Persons in Need of Supervision (PINS) and Juvenile Delinquency cases. Identifies appropriate services based on individual student's needs and utilizes a collaborative team approach with the student and their family to create an individualized student plan with the goal of improving behavior and increasing success in school and at home.

Eligibility: Students in 5th through 12th grades

Application Process: Referral based, call or walk-in for information at a participating district

Safe Schools Mohawk Valley

Provides services to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade to reduce barriers to learning while supporting students social and emotional well-being. Coordinates services with local Mohawk Valley area school districts.
