The National Cancer Institute's (NCI's) Cancer Information Service (CIS) is a federally funded cancer education program that was established as a part of NCI's mission and information efforts. Also provides a helpline that gives one-on-one information about cancer prevention, screening, treatment, supportive care, genetics and clinical trials in an easy-to-understand language and also available via live online chat.
